New Introduction: Tweel Airless Radial tires for UTVs and ATVs

Yes. Operators of UTV utility machines that utilize a 26-inch, four-bolt pattern wheel, will now be able to buy the Michelin no-compromise airless solution for their UTVs. The MICHELIN® X® TWEEL® UTV 26x9N14 airless radial tire is a single unit that replaces the current pneumatic tire/wheel/valve assembly.

Yes. The new 26-inch MICHELIN X TWEEL UTV is available for purchase on the michelintweel.com website or through the MICHELIN TWEEL dealer network.

This product is for use on construction, farm, landscape, recreation, quarry, mine, emergency service response, logging, parks, hunting, military operations, universities, beach patrol, camping, hurricane/tornado and other debris-laden areas where flat tires cause serious and extreme interruptions.

With a 37-mph speed rating at a maximum gross vehicle weight of 2,860 pounds, the MICHELIN X TWEEL UTV is available with three hub configurations that will fit 4x137 and 4x156 bolt patterns for a variety of machines, including the BRP Can-Am Defender, Kawasaki Mule and the Polaris Ranger.

Additional hub configurations and new fitments for John Deere, Honda, Kubota and Argo will be available later in 2018 and 2019.

These tires are currently available online at michelintweel.com, the price is MSRP listed as $750.00 each.

It depends on the application and the use. The TWEEL® airless radial tire can last up to three times longer than conventional bias-ply tires.

In severe and challenging use environments, TWEEL tires can experience spoke breaking normally as a result of physical cutting damage. The TWEEL unit remains useful even with up to 20% of damaged spokes. We are offering both repair for cut spokes and potential blocking solutions.
